Conor Shannon won the Gradam Uí Mhaolchatha for 2014 for his fantastic efforts academically, socially, sporting and otherwise. Conor has excelled in recent years in Meán Scoil Nua an Leith Triúigh and is a worthy recipient of this award. Conor has received fantastic support from teaching staff, fellow students and his parents Joe Shannon and Kathleen Egan throughout his time in Meán Scoil and was a very popular choice when announced at the graduation Mass on May 22nd. Sheila Mulcahy who founded Meán Scoil with her late husband Aidan presented the Gradam to Conor.
